Forever Fantasy

Printmaking BFA Thesis Show, March 11–17, 2014

Within the last few years I have regular played various tabletop, pen-and-paper roleplaying games. I have always been interested in fantasy genres, such as traditional medieval fantasy and sci-fi. I’m fascinated by the mythologies that fantasy works are based off of and how they adapt these different tales to make their universe unique.

I am able to connect the story from the game I am playing, or character I have invented to the artwork that I create and through the artwork I am able to share an epic narrative. The work might capture a character or a setting that is otherwise only described by words.
